<p>You are invited to attend this very special day combining fine cars and “the sport of kings” in a most family friendly environment. Studio 47 and Putsch Racing will be raising money for the Super Car Super Kids charity and the Columbus Children’s Hospital inviting anyone with a car of interest to join them for a Concours d’Elegance and in the catered VIP tent at mid-field. Fine cars will be directed to special parking that is along side the playing field! Expect to see fine European and American exotics, classics, sports, and even historic racing cars among the beautiful Thoroughbred horses.</p>
<p>Friendly competition and rivalry will be at hand as one team will represent the Ferrari and Lamborghini restoration facility “Studio 47″ and the other will represent the race car preparation, restoration, and prototype building shop “Putsch Racing”. The owner of the latter, Casey Putsch, will personally be competing in this match as well.</p>
<p>Bring your entire family and enjoy this most relaxing time. Plan on making a lovely day of it. While there will be tents for shade and some light refreshments, families and couples are urged to take part in the atmosphere with picnic lunches, blankets, and folding chairs along the playing field side lines. Spectators enjoy the tradition of the sport by taking part in the “divot stomp” during halftime and many ladies love the opportunity to break out the fashionable big hats and summer dresses.</p>

<p>This very rare American racing car has just finished undergoing a restoration at Putsch Racing. This particular car belongs to the owner and will be able to be seen racing at the Mid-Ohio Vintage Grand Prix in June, 2012. A special treat as we believe it has been over 15 years since a Cheetah lapped the track! It is powered by a stroked small block Chevrolet V8 as raced originally and is breathing through 4 down draft Weber carburetors. The car has been restored in keeping with the original time period and is reflective of how Cheetahs originally raced. You are cordially invite to join us in the pits. See you at the track!</p>

<p>This particular special is an interesting and historical American racing car that was built using a modified Triumph chassis with a fiberglass Kellison body. After originally constructed, the owner became friends with a Corvette racer of the time that convinced him to install a Rochester fuel injected 327 ci Chevrolet V-8. The two of them had success racing it in the 1962-63 season. Putsch Racing is very honored to be care taking this exciting car for its new owner and is looking forward to having the car out for for the public to enjoy once again.</p>

<p>This fantastic roadster was sold to an avid colloctor, and we hope that he enjoys this rare piece as much as we did having it around.</p>

<p>This is a lovely old custom, built as an Indy Roadster that is titled/registered for the street as a 1958 Chevrolet. It is a tube frame with all metal coachwork and powered by a period Chevrolet 283 V8 with the power pack heads mated to a 2 speed power glide. All the lettering was hand painted as in period and that is real gold-leaf on the numbers. It is fitted with period headlights in the nose and hidden tail/brake lights. Personally, I feel the power glide transmission is perfect for the car as it makes it completely drivable and closely emulates the 2-speeds used at Indy. The car has custom made Halibrand wheels and actual remakes of the Firestone Indy tires as used throughout the 60&#8242;s. The brakes are large hydraulic drums and do the job quite well. The car will fit over a 6 foot tall man. I am 6&#8217;1&#8243; and fit fantastically. The roadster has most recently been gone over and fitted with appropriate period correct bits and sorted out. The electrical system was completely redone with modern fuse box and a well located battery. The car drives very well indeed and is a complete blast. Would be a great pit car at races as well. &#8230;.just hop in and push the button. As a last note: I had fitted the car with a carb from my Cheetah (it was running too rich in the video) I will be installing a better matched carb for the next owner. This car is ready to be enjoyed, period.</p>

<div>    The 1980&#8242;s was an exciting, but difficult time for Lamborghini. Governmental control and emissions regulations were forcing automotive manufactures to abandon carburetors for a more clever and environmentally friendly approach to making power. Lamborghini was fantastic at making power in the most extravagant and exciting way possible, but doing so with concern for efficiency or quite simply, our lungs, was not their strong suit. For the company&#8217;s first go at fuel-injection, they had to consult their American counterparts with Lamborghini North America.</div>

<div>   This particular car started life in 1982 as Lamborghini&#8217;s Geneva show car before arriving as the first 5 litre Countach in the United States. Lamborghini realized that they were being left behind in a changing world and were in danger of losing the American market if they could not meet the US standards. They then commissioned this very car (their flagship Countach) to not only become the prototype car for fuel-injection, but to meet regulations, be reliable, and while not losing performance. No small feat for the hand-built, complicated, and high-performance V12. This car however, passed the requirements with flying colors. Afterward, it was sent back to the factory and displayed on the show circuit as the prototype for the 5000s Countach model, fuel injection, and an example to meet US regulations. Soon after, every single Lamborghini produced to this date would be fuel-injected.</div>

<div>  Long ago a tractor builder in Italy was so very insulted by a car builder that he started Automobili Lamborghini, the company that bore his name. Decades after it shocked the world, people can&#8217;t help notice the Countach. While most see it as simply beautiful and exciting, I can&#8217;t help see it as the automotive embodiment or metaphor for the obscene gesture that certain someone deserved for suggesting Mr. Lamborghini stick to farming and building his tractors.</div>

<div>   Having never been restored, this car is in the original condition as last configured. The paint is in extremely good condition, with no bubbling associated with corrosion and even the distinct blue leather interior is in perfect and supple condition with no shrinkage due to age or the elements. Having only covered a bit over 9000 miles, the Countach has spend much time being stationary in the collections of appreciative owners. Putsch Racing is happily bringing the Prototype Countach back to the state of tune and of course, the velocity that it deserves.</div>

<div>    Recently this Countach found itself on the highway with what could be considered its &#8220;great grand children&#8221;, the new Aventadors. A very interesting family reunion occurred in front of Putsch Racing where all the owners contemplated the meaning of how Countach&#8217;s and this exact car helped make Lamborghini the world super-car builder it is today.</div>

<p>Street registered in the US, this car needs little introduction as it has found international publicity in all forms of media.<br />
Completed in 2011, this car was constructed in a professional racing facility alongside Grand Prix, DTM, Indy and Sports Racing cars. Its construction is in a completely different league than both replicas and of course the movie prop cars. The perception of this car is best summed up by one comment from the huge cross section of media attention “Replica? I think the movie cars were replicas of this!”. “Born Rich” was quoted as saying, “Unluckily this car is a one-off version, but had it not been so, it certainly would have been on the wish-list of every automobile lover.” Luckily though, exclusivity is ensured.</p>

<li>Sound level is mostly treble so it seems loud up close, but quickly quiets as the car moves away. Cockpit sound level is acceptable.</li>
<li>Exhaust gasses, while hot, do not have the destructive force that popular myth assumes.</li>
<li>The car takes a few seconds to start and spin up to its idle speed, but is ready to drive immediately with no warm up period needed.</li>
