The 1989 Michael Keaton
Tim Burton Batmobile
What car, either real or fictitious, has become more legendary than that driven by the heroic vigilante Batman? This replica was entirely designed and built by Casey Putsch. Unlike the replicas that have recently sold at auction or that have been spotted driving around Europe, this is the only one built to high enough standards that it can be considered a performance car in its own right. It is even track worthy and has been built with a trailer hitch to tow Putsch's Toyota Atlantic car and racing motorcycles with. This car also has on-board compressed air and AC to power tools and other race car support items such as computer interface. This car features a tube frame chassis, roll structure, independent suspension, Corvette drive-train, automated retractable Browning 30 caliber machine guns replicas, police/military scanner, internet, satellite navigation, digital and electroluminescent displays, automated canopy, PA system, freight train horn, trailer brake control, air-ride suspension, among other interesting items.
